On the wool thread

The Fantasy section takes place in the wonderful spaces of the Pria Factory at 'Ponte delle Signore'.
Gestures and contemporary art works where wool and its world create art. Thanks to " Studio Azzurro", worldwide famous for its TV installations, a magnificent hall regains the look, very poetically treated, that characterised it when it was just a factory. Virtual images, smells, heat and sounds capture the visitor projecting him into the real atmosphere of wool's manufactures.
Contemporary but already historical pieces of art drive the visitor through Kounellis' mythological- arcadyc tales and Beuys' felts, Cavellini's 'selfhistorical' methods and Lalanne's muttons. Wool is the inspiring and physical theme of work with which to interact in works expressly made for this occasion by artists like Pistoletto (who will create a new wool version of the very famous 'Venere degli stracci'), Marcello Jori, Fabrizio Plessi, Luigi Serafini. The group of Cracking Art has realised for this show the big installation "Freddo": 30 plastic icy-coloured penguins internally lighted with blue lights that welcome visitors at the formal wool factory' s entrance.
